PEONIES IN BLOOM

— A Collection of Florals to Welcome Spring —

I am so excited to announce the arrival of the Peonies Collection, four original floral paintings framed in light maple. This series was created during the rainiest of spring days, it was nearly impossible to imagine that the sun would ever shine again. Ok, that might be a slight dramatization but you get the idea :)

Peonies are the Queens of the Garden, they lead the way in the parade of cutting flowers in my garden and they are the most welcome sight after weeks of gray and rainy skies.

Fluffy and abundant, feminine and delicate. Painting these beauties was extremely fun, I loved immersing my studio in their heady fragrance and watching their dainty petals unfurl.
