Is there anything more cheerful than a paper-thin poppy blossom swaying gently in the breeze? I am not sure I can think of anything! I wanted to capture the delicate petals of the Icelandic Poppy as well as that iconic fire engine red color . Little pale pink buds of dianthus and tiny light purple wild daises add to the composition. This piece is a part of my Summer Florals collection that celebrates the blooms of the season.
